Hock Ch'ng's primary responsibilities involve the formulation, development and implementation of strategies, programs, policies and procedures as creative solutions to complex business concerns involving technical, occupational health and safety (OHS), workers' compensation, environmental and regulatory issues.
Hock has worked as an OHS professional since 1985. Under Hock's direction and management, his previous employer, Brivis Australia, received national environmental excellence awards in 2000 and 2001, and a Victorian Energy Smart award in 2000. He has served on various Australian Standards committees and presented guest lectures to RMIT University Bachelor of Safety Science students.
Hock's qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Occupational Hygiene, a research-based MSc and an MBA. He hails from Penang, Malaysia but has lived, studied and worked in Geelong and Melbourne since 1981.
