Darren Mason is a senior business leader with over 30 years of experience in the nuclear, radiation, petrochemical, freight and energy sectors. He joined ANSTO in 2023 in a key role managing consultancy for calibration, training, nuclear waste and radiation divisions.
Darren has extensive management, consulting, solutions engineering, training design and delivery, and business development experience in senior positions in Australia and internationally, including general manager, global client director, international market development consultant, non-executive director and board chairman. He has successfully managed large-scale nuclear and radiation projects, and designed and delivered highly technical training to upskill and expand supply chain workforces.
With deep industry knowledge and expertise, Darren understands international markets and regulatory requirements and willingly imparts his rich commercial experience and knowledge.
He brings to ANSTO his expertise in identifying new and emerging markets and opportunities, a commitment to designing practical and sustainable solutions to stakeholder challenges and a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes.
