Role at ANSTO
Dr Cameron Kewish is a member of the BRIGHT Nanoprobe team, focused on designing the Endstation of the 100 m-long beamline to provide fast-scanning ultra-high resolution fluorescence microscopy and ptychography.
He also collaborates with scientists visiting the XFM beamline to conduct X-ray diffraction and coherent diffractive imaging experiments. In partnership with La Trobe University, Cameron has provided ptychography, a scanning coherent X-ray diffraction microscopy (SXDM) method, as a parallel and complementary XFM user experiment to provide ultrastructure morphology as context for elemental distribution maps.
Expertise
Cameron’s expertise spans the fields of synchrotron user support, beamline design and operation, coherent optics, ptychography and diffraction microscopy, tomography, and high performance computing data analysis pipelines for fast framing detectors.
