Role at ANSTO
Design and optimisation of 4th generation synchrotron facility. Support the operation of accelerator systems at the Australian synchrotron.
Frank completed his PhD in Accelerator Physics at the University of Melbourne, where he worked on the development of an automated design and optimisation algorithm for synchrotron lattices. He also contributed towards the lattice design for the Next-Ion Medical Machine Study coordinated by CERN. Prior to this, Frank worked on background signal mitigation techniques for the ATLAS experiment.
