Dr Ashley Walker

Role at ANSTO

Dr Ashley Walker is a radiochemist working in the Biosciences platform. He provides support to commercial radiochemistry projects, collaborates with academic researchers, and is involved in developing methods for remote handling and automation of radiolabelling processes.

Ashley obtained his PhD in synthetic and medicinal chemistry, developing molecules for the study of neurodegenerative diseases. He also worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Wollongong, developing new methods for the synthesis and functionalisation of graphene.
