The CORIS360® Gamma Neutron Imager (GNI) is the world’s only commercial technology capable of imaging both gamma-ray and thermal neutron sources of radiation. With the addition of thermal neutron imaging, CORIS360® GNI delivers a major step forward in nuclear security and safeguards by enabling the detection, localisation and identification of nuclear materials through both their gamma and neutron signatures. Remote, fast and accurate imaging

Utilising innovations in mask design and its patented compressed sensing technique, CORIS360® GNI images gamma-rays and thermal neutrons up to ten times faster than traditional methods. While it introduces enhanced capabilities, it maintains the same high performance imaging functionality as the original CORIS360® model.

Traditional radiation scanning often requires workers to perform manual surveys with handheld devices—an approach that can be slow, labour intensive and hazardous. These all increase the risk of unnecessary radiation exposure and user error.

CORIS360® GNI transforms this process. It can be remotely operated, and can scan an entire room, container or asset in a single data acquisition. Operators receive fast, visual, and highly accurate information on both the type and location of radiation sources.
