Ot is an Instrument Scientist for the Radon Analytical Laboratories within the Isotope Tracing in Natural Systems group. he works closely as part of a small team in a cross-business-unit collaboration with the atmospheric research scientists in ANSTO's Environmental research group. The team operates, maintains and improves existing instruments, as well as designing and testing new equipment, for atmospheric measurements of 222Rn (radon), and employs them in highly collaborative national and international research studies of global and regional atmospheric composition and pollution. The role underpins ANSTO’s reputation as a world leader in high sensitivity, low detection limit atmospheric radon measurements.
