Nevena Kosarac

Ms. Nevena Kosarac completed her honours thesis under the umbrella of this project at UNSW Sydney in 2021. Ms. Kosarac’s research, titled “Detecting paleofires and geochemical responses in a stalagmite from Boranup, south-west Western Australia”, found that the fire signal could be detected in deep caves, where previously it was thought that only shallow caves could be used for palaeofire applications.
