Krishant holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, specialising in the design and development of novel platinum(IV)-based anticancer agents, where he has contributed to the development of a new class of compounds that is currently undergoing preclinical studies. He spent several years teaching at Western Sydney University before moving to ANSTO, where he currently serves as a Radiochemist. In this role, he has focused on the research and development of radiopharmaceuticals that incorporate small molecules/peptides or antibodies as targeting vectors. He has worked with various therapeutic and diagnostic radioisotopes to synthesise targeted cancer therapy and diagnostic imaging agents.
