Expertise

Radiation-induced DNA breaks and repair mechanisms.

Qualifications and Achievements

PhD work (2015-2017, INSERM U1296, Lyon, France. Supervisor: Dr Nicolas Foray): "Impact of the cytonuclear transit of the ATM protein in response to ionizing radiation: notions of pro- and anti-episkevia"  a radiobiological characterization of radiosensitive genetic syndromes not mutated in genes related to DNA repair.

Post Doctoral Work:

This work has been structured in two periods: from the end of 2017 till the end of 2019 I started a research project in space radiobiology, with a postdoctoral fellowship from CNES, which led me to irradiate in Paris (protons of the Louvre-AGLAE) and Toulouse (low dose, MarSimulator). I also worked on the stratospheric balloon mission K-riboo Bernadotte. I moved to Australia in 2019 to continue this work at ANSTO.
