Primary school tours

Discover a world of science in our unique tour experience for primary schools. 

All tours are available Monday to Friday for Year 3 to Year 6 classes. The price per student is $9 and teachers are free.

We welcome schools back to visit us safely during COVID-19. With current capacity restrictions, we can accommodate groups of up to 80 visitors in total. We have incursion options for schools that can't make it to ANSTO in person.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Year 3 to 6: Science at Work!

The ANSTO primary tour experience has been enjoyed by thousands of students. 

Visit world-class science facilities and learn about the important role of scientists in society and the different environments they work in.

Students participate in a fun and engaging "Colour and Light Show" and discuss their science interests with our experienced education team.
