What to expect:

Ever wanted to bring your ideas to life in 3D? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the exciting world of 3D design and printing! You’ll learn how to create your own custom name tags, 3D characters, and awesome objects using Tinkercad—a super easy and fun digital design tool.

But wait, there’s more! Since 3D printers take their time (they’re a bit slow like turtles 🐢), we’ll mail your finished creations to your home after the workshop.

In the meantime, unleash your creativity instantly with our 3D pens—draw, build, and sculpt wild designs right before your eyes! ✨ What you create is only limited by your imagination.

🚀 No experience needed—just bring your creativity and get ready to make magic!

Additional Information

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop at the ANSTO Discovery Centre to sign-in. The workshop starts at 9:30 am sharp.
• Workshop includes a recess and lunch break outside (weather permitting). Please bring a bag with sunscreen, snacks/ food, a hat and drink bottle.
• All workshops are delivered by accredited educators with experience in science, engineering, programming and robotics.

Safety note: 3D printing with PLA filament can release small amounts of fumes. While we run this workshop in a well-ventilated environment, as a precaution, we recommend anyone suffering from severe allergic asthma attend a different ANSTO school holiday workshop.
